A beautiful yarn inspired a simple Moebius-shaped neckwarmer cowl. The main color is a 100% silk multi-colored iridescent yarn made in Nepal. The contrasting color is a 100% cotton chenille yarn. The Impeyan pheasant, the national bird of Nepal, has many-colored, iridescent feathers similar to the iridescence in this yarn.
A Moebius is a twisted circular fabric with only one side, one edge and no seams. Pattern requires the following skills: casting on for Moebius knitting, and knitting in the round on circular needles. Most of the piece is knit in Moss Stitch.
